PetIQ, Inc., was incorporated as a Delaware corporation on February 29, 2016. The company was formed to complete a public offering and related transactions to conduct the business of PetIQ LLC, an Idaho limited liability company. PetIQ is a fast-growing distributor and manufacturer of veterinary grade pet Rx drugs, OTC flea and tick preventives, and dog and cat health and wellness products. The company pioneered and is a major seller of retail channels for pet products, previously purchased primarily from veterinary clinics. The company is able to provide its customers with a leading national brand of pet owner choice, economy and convenience products, as well as an alternative to its proprietary value brands. Consumer behavior supports its continued growth: pet owners are increasingly migrating their purchases from veterinary offices to the channels they serve. In addition, pet owners are transferring retail purchases of non-veterinary grade products, the only available product in their retail channels, to advanced veterinary grade products sold.
