PotlatchDeltic Corporation is a Caretrust Reit with approximately 1.6 million acres of forestland in Arkansas, Idaho and Minnesota. The company invests mostly in real estate, and its income also includes income from the sale of standing logs. Through Potlatch TRS, a taxable subsidiary of a wholly-owned Caretrust Reit, the Company operates a real estate sales and development business and a production facility for the production of wood and plywood five wood products. The company's business is mainly divided into three operating segments: resources, real estate and wood products. The company's resource classification manages its forest land and optimizes income-generating opportunities, while adhering to its strict management standards. Management activities include planting and harvesting trees, building and maintaining roads. The resources segment also seeks to increase its revenue from non-timber resources such as hunting leases, recreational licenses and leases, biomass production, carbon sequestration, mineral leases and other lease opportunities. The company's real estate business mainly includes the sale of some non-core woodland real estate. The real estate division, through Potlatch TRS, is engaged in real estate segmentation and development, and plays an active role in the negotiation of the acquisition of all forest land. The company's wood products division manufactures and sells wood and plywood. Potlatch Corporation was founded in Delaware in September 2005.
