Paccar Corporation was incorporated under the laws of Delaware in 1971, formerly known as Pacific Motor Foundry Company, which was incorporated in Washington in 1924. The company's predecessor can be traced back to the Seattle Automobile Manufacturing Company, founded in 1905. The Company is a multinational company operating in three main areas: (1) the truck segment includes the design and manufacture of high-quality, light, medium and heavy commercial trucks; (2) the parts segment includes the distribution of aftermarket parts for trucks and related commercial vehicles; and (3) the financial services segment (PFS) includes financial and leasing products and services to customers and dealers.
