Opendoor Technologies Inc., was incorporated in Delaware on December 30, 2013. The Company was formed through a business combination with Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. II (" SCH "). Pursuant to the business combination, Opendoor Labs Inc., became a wholly-owned subsidiary of SCH, and SCH changed its name from "Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. II" to "Opendoor Technologies Inc." on December 18, 2020. Opendoor is a leading e-commerce platform for residential real estate transactions. By leveraging software, data science, product design and operations, Opendoor is building a manageable market for residential real estate that provides a better experience for buyers and sellers than traditional real estate transactions.
