As a holding company without a major business of its own, Dexen conducts almost all of its business through its Chinese subsidiaries, mainly Zhejiang Wangsu Technology Co., Ltd. They are a leading supply chain management service provider in East China, serving customers in the plastics and chemical industries in China. In 2004, the company developed and launched the Zhejiang Plastic Warehouse Receipt Trading Platform, which is the only domestic forward warehouse receipt trading platform in China. It is also the first e-commerce trading model in the plastics industry to introduce the concept of futures to avoid business risks. The service area covers the whole territory of China, and there are more than 13,000 registered members distributed all over the country. The business covers nearly 30 provinces and municipalities except Qinghai and Tibet. It has been named as "Industrial Informatization Operation Situation Index Enterprise" and "Industrial Informatization Operation Situation Sample Enterprise" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It has been rated as "China's Top Ten Most Influential Commodity Market Index" by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, And successfully settled in the Zhejiang Price Index built by the Zhejiang Provincial Price Bureau.
