The Bank is a New York-chartered savings bank whose primary activity is the ownership and operation of banks. The Bank's main businesses include primarily originating construction loans and, to a lesser extent, commercial and industrial loans, multi-family and mixed-use residential real estate loans, and non-residential real estate loans. The bank offers a wide range of retail deposit products to the general public in the areas surrounding its main offices and its branches, with interest rates that are competitive with similar products offered by financial institutions operating in its market regions.
