Moolec Science SA was established on 23 May 2022 under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Moolec is a science-based food ingredients company focused on developing true animal proteins in plants using Molecular Farming, a disruptive, scalable, affordable and sustainable technology. Its aim is to improve the taste, nutrition and affordability of alternative protein products while building a more sustainable and equitable food system. Founded in 2020, the company is a US subsidiary of Bioceres Group, a private entity that has provided Moolec with a scientific team and certain intellectual property (Chymosin SPC and GLA patents and trademarks) since its inception. They operate in the United States, Europe and South America.
