Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc., was founded in 2006. The Company operates as the parent holding company of Lake Shore Bank (the "Bank "). The bank's main business includes attracting retail deposits from the public in the areas around its branches and investing these deposits together with funds generated from operations, mainly in commercial real estate loans, one- to four-family residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, and to a lesser extent in commercial loans, consumer loans and investment securities.
