Live Ventures Incorporated was originally established in 1968. It is a diversified holding company with several wholly-owned subsidiaries. Its strategic focus is to acquire companies with strong profitability and strong profitability. Through its subsidiary Marquis Industries, the company manufactures and sells residential and commercial carpets primarily in North America. Marquis Industries also designs, sources and sells hard faced flooring. Through its subsidiary Precision Marshall, the company manufactures and sells steel in four product categories: high-grade alloy sheet, high-grade tool steel sheet, precision ground flat steel and drill pipe. The company sells new and used movies, classic and contemporary video games and systems, CD & LP music, collectible comics, books, toys and more through its subsidiary Vintage Stock, an award-winning entertainment retailer. Vintage Stock ships products directly to customers' doorsteps around the world through its stores and website. Through its subsidiary ApplianceSmart, the company sells new major home appliances in the United States through a company-owned retail store in Columbus, Ohio (which operates under the ApplianceSmart name).
