Korsana Biosciences, Inc., was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on September 6, 2018. Korsana Biosciences was established to reduce the burden of neurodegenerative diseases on patients and caregivers. Therapeutic Targeting, developed in collaboration with Paragon Therapeutics, is a new blood-brain barrier penetrating shuttle platform designed to achieve significantly higher drug concentrations inside the brain and overcome the limitations of early shuttle technology. Korsana is advancing a series of innovative THETA therapies for neurodegenerative diseases, starting with KRSA-028 for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
