Klx Energy Services Holdings, Inc., was incorporated in Delaware on June 28, 2018 and will serve as the holding company for its operating subsidiaries. The company's business strategy is to expand its leadership in providing technical services and related tools and equipment to the North and the U.S. onshore energy sector. Leverage the large, highly fragmented and rapidly growing energy technology service market. Shale oil and gas development and new extraction methods have unlocked large untapped oil and natural gas reserves within major onshore producing basins in the United States, which have contributed to the drilling boom and created demand for products and services that support advanced drilling activities. This segment is highly fragmented, with hundreds of small companies providing technical and logistics services and related equipment to exploration and production companies. Through the acquisition, integration and investment of seven enterprises acquired in 2013 and 2014, the company has created a national integrated service provider that provides highly differentiated services and provides real-time support through active R&D efforts integrated with field personnel to meet changing customer needs and solutions.
