Intevac, Inc .'s business consists of two divisions:
1. Equipment: Intevac is a leading supplier of design, development and sales of high-productivity process manufacturing equipment for the hard disk drive industry. Intevac also provides high-productivity process manufacturing equipment for the solar photovoltaic (" PV ") industry.
2. Intevac Optoelectronics: Intevac is a leader in the development and manufacture of high-end, high-sensitivity imaging products and vision systems, as well as Raman spectroscopy instruments. The market includes military, medical, scientific research, pharmaceutical and other industrial markets.
Intevac was founded in California in October 1990 and rebuilt in Delaware in 2007.
