About IPWR
Ideal Power Inc.
A developer of power converter products for electric and hybrid vehicles, renewable energy, and grid-storage
5508 Highway 290 West, Suite 120, Austin, Texas 78735
--
Ideal Power Inc. (Ideal Electronics Co., Ltd.) was incorporated in Texas on May 17, 2007 and transferred to Delaware on July 15, 2013. The company is committed to designing and developing technologies designed to improve key performance characteristics of electronic power converters and inverters, including manufacturing cost, installation cost, weight, efficiency, reliability and flexibility. The company's Power Packet Switching Architecture (PPSA) is a new power conversion topology that uses software switching and 100% indirect power delivery. With PPSA, all incoming electrical energy is temporarily stored in AC linked magnetic storage elements. This allows products with PPSA function to have insulation function (can be grounded) and is still much smaller than transformer inverters and non-transformer inverters.
