Interparfums, Inc., was founded in 1982. The company operates a perfume business that produces, sells and distributes a wide range of high-end perfumes and perfume related products. The company divides its business into two parts, the European business and the US business. Certain premium perfume products are produced and sold by its European-based business unit through its subsidiary Interparfums SA, in which it holds a 72% stake in Paris. Interparfum SA is also a listed company because 28% of Interparfums SA's shares are traded on Euronext.
