Heritage-Crystal Clean, Inc., was incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware on June 13, 2007. From mid 1999 to June 12, 1999, the Company's business was executed by Heritage-Crystal Clean, LLC and its subsidiaries. On March 11, 2008, the holding company and its wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries completed the reorganization and made an initial public offering (IPO). Due to the reorganization and listing, its holding company became a subsidiary of the company. The company's CEO office is located in Elgin, Illinois. The Company operates its business through its Environmental Services and Oil Business division. The Environmental Services segment includes some cleaning container waste management and vacuum truck service activities. The company allows customers to outsource some of the cleaning solvents they handle, as well as other containers. These substances are subject to extensive and complex regulations, and mismanagement will result in subpoenas, fines and substantial direct costs. Companies allow customers to focus more on their core business and devote less resources to industrial and hazardous waste management, and more specifically, related administrative burdens. The Oil Business segment includes collection and oil re-clarification activities.
