Haynes International, Inc., began operations in 1912. In 1987, Haynes was incorporated in Delaware as an independent company. The company is one of the world's largest developers, producers and distributors of technologically advanced high-performance nickel-cobalt-based alloys. The Company's products are mainly sold to the aerospace, chemical processing and industrial gas turbine industries and consist of high temperature resistant alloy (" HTA ") products and corrosion resistant alloy (" CRA ") products. HTA products are used in the aerospace market for jet engines, gas turbine engines for power generation and industrial heating equipment manufacturers that can withstand extremely high temperatures. CRA products are used in applications that require resistance to highly corrosive media found in chemical processing, power plant emission control, and waste disposal.
