Great Elm Capital Corp. was renamed from Full Circle Capital Corp. The original company was established in April 2010. The new company was incorporated six years later. GECC is incorporated in Maryland and will operate as a closed, non-diversified management investment company. GECC's investment objective is to seek to generate current income and capital appreciation while guarding against the risk of capital loss by investing primarily in debt securities of middle market companies.
