FormFactor, Inc., was established in Delaware on April 15, 1993. Ruler companies design, develop, manufacture, sell and support high-precision, high-performance advanced semiconductor wafer probe card products and solutions. Semiconductor manufacturers use the company's wafer probe cards to sequence and test on semiconductor wafers at the front end of the semiconductor manufacturing process on semiconductor chips or chips. The probe card of the wafer is mounted on a probe, which in turn is connected to the semiconductor tester. The wafer probe card is used as an interface to electrically connect and test individual chips on the wafer. During this manufacturing stage, using the company's wafer probe cards for testing, the company's customers can reduce testing costs by identifying defective chips before incurring time and packaging defective chips after segmentation. The company works closely with customers on product design, as each wafer probe card is a custom product, a customer-specific chip and epitaxial wafer design.
