US Ecology, Inc., was registered as a Delaware corporation in May 1987 as US Ecology Group, Inc. On February 22, 2010, the company changed its name from American Ecology Group to American Ecology Company. Through its subsidiaries, the company provides radioactivity, PCBs, hazard and industrial waste management services to commercial and government entities such as refineries and chemical producers, electrical industries, manufacturers, steel mills and medical and academic institutions. The company operates in two divisions: Operated Removal Devices and Non-Operated Removal Devices.
