CVB Financial Corp., a bank holding company incorporated in California on April 27, 1981, complies with the provisions of the Bank Holding Act of 1956, as amended. The Company commenced its business on December 30, 1981 and acquired all voting shares of Chino Valley Bank pursuant to the Reorganization Ordinance. On March 29, 1996, Chino Valley Bank changed its name to Citizens Commercial Bank. The bank is the company's main asset. CVB's main business is to serve as a holding company for those banks and bank-related subsidiaries, so that the company may acquire these companies. The company's main operations are related to traditional banking activities, including taking deposits, lending and investing through the bank's operations. The Company also provides car and equipment leasing to its clients through its Citizens Financial Services Group and also provides trust and investment-related services to its clients through its Citizens Trust Division. Its clients consist primarily of small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed individuals located in San Bernardino County, Riverside County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, Madera County, Fresno County, Tulare County, Kern County and San Joaquin County.
