Crown Electrokinetics Corp. was incorporated in Delaware on April 20, 2015. From January 14, 2016, the company name was changed from 2D Nanocolor Corp. to 3 D Nanocolor Corp. Thereafter, it became effective on October 6. In 2017, the company's name was changed from 3 D Nanocolor to Crown Electrokinetics Corp. Crown develops and sells optical switch films that can be embedded between glass plates or applied to glass surfaces or rigid substrates, and electronically control the opacity of the switch films. This product can be applied to a variety of windows, including commercial buildings, automotive sunroofs and residential sunroofs.
