Cps Technologies Corp. was incorporated in Massachusetts in 1984 as Ceramics Process Systems Corporation and was re-incorporated in Delaware in April 1987 by merging into a wholly owned Delaware subsidiary organized for re-registration. Cps Technology provides advanced material solutions for the transportation, automotive, energy, computing/internet, telecommunications, aerospace and defense markets. Cps technology products are an important element in realizing the electrification of a green economy and protecting military personnel around the world. The company is an important player in the evolution towards alternative energy and green lifestyles. The company's products are used in high-speed trains, public transportation, hybrid and electric vehicles, wind turbines for power generation, routers, switches and fiber optic components for the Internet backbone. The company's products are used in high-reliability communication and power modules for avionics and satellite applications, such as the current generation of Global Positioning System satellites. The company also manufactures housings and heat sinks for high-performance microprocessors, graphics processing chips and application-specific integrated circuits. All of these applications involve the use of electrical energy or the generation of energy; the company's products have higher performance and higher energy efficiency.
