The company is a developer of underwater technology and equipment for imaging, surveying and mapping, defense and survey applications. Coda Octopus Group, Inc. Designs and manufactures patented real-time 3-D sonar solutions and other major products for sale to the subsea, defense, mining and marine science markets, among others. In addition, the Company provides marine engineering business services to major defense contractors. The Company operates through two operating business segments: the marine technology business (the "Products" segment) and the marine engineering business (the "Services" or "Contracting" segment). Their products are mainly used in the underwater construction market, offshore oil and gas and wind energy industries, as well as complex dredging, port security, mining and marine science fields. Their clients include service providers from major oil and gas companies, law enforcement agencies, ports, mining companies, defense companies, universities and R&D institutions. The company mainly provides high-quality contractors for overseas engineering business services.
