Calamos Dynamic Convertible and Income Fund was established as a Delaware statutory trust on March 11, 2014. It is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The fund started operations on March 27, 2015. The fund's investment objective is to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. Under normal circumstances, the Fund will invest primarily in convertible securities (including synthetic convertible bonds, which are a single instrument, or multiple instruments that are uniformly held consisting of two or more securities with investment characteristics that, taken together, have similar investment characteristics to traditional convertible securities) and a portfolio of debt and equity income-generating securities, as well as other investments that generate current income and dividends.
