Astra Space Inc was incorporated as a Delaware company in September 2016, and Astra's mission is to launch a new generation of space services to improve life on Earth. They see launch services as the first phase of their business, with the ultimate goal of building a leading space platform. They intend to expand their products and services to LEO operators, including launch services, spaceport services and satellite services. Their integrated space services platform will enable their clients to focus on innovative applications rather than investing in custom satellite development and individually contracted launch services.
