American Resources Corporation is a major low-cost producer of high-quality metallurgical coal in eastern Kentucky. They founded the company on October 2, 2013 and changed its name from Natural Gas Fueling and Conversion Inc. to NGFC Equities, Inc. on February 25, 2015, then changed its name from NGFC Equities in February, Inc. Changed its name to American Resources Corporation. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Quest Energy, an Indiana company established in June 2015, ARC was able to acquire coal mining and coal processing businesses, almost all of which are located in eastern Kentucky. Most of its domestic and international target customer base includes blast furnace steel mills and coke plants, as well as international metallurgical coal consumers, domestic power generation utilities and other industrial customers.
