AppHarvest has established strong relationships with leading agricultural and construction companies and universities in the Netherlands, which enable the company to leverage the latest mature technologies to continuously increase crop yields, increase access to nutritious, non-GMO food, and be able to build a stable and safe supply of U.S.-grown food. The company owns a 60 acre controlled environmental farming facility in Morehead, Ky., which is one of the largest high-tech greenhouses in the world, and it also has an active development pipeline for other large indoor controlled environmental farm projects.
