AMERISAFE is an insurance holding company, operated in 1986, dedicated to workers' compensation insurance for logging contractors in the southeastern United States. Two of the company's three insurance subsidiaries: Intercontinental Insurance Company and Silver Oak Accident Company are both located in Louisiana, and the other insurance subsidiary, Intercontinental Insurance Company Texas Company, is located in Texas.
