Sprott Physical Gold Trust was incorporated on August 28, 2009 under the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. The trust was set up to invest almost all of its assets and hold physical gold bars. The trust intends to invest mainly in long-term unencumbered, fully distributed physical gold bars and will not speculate on short-term changes in the price of gold.
