Power REIT is a real estate investment trust established on August 26, 2011 in accordance with the relevant provisions of the laws of the State of Maryland. Power REIT is a Maryland-based real estate investment trust (" REIT ") that holds, develops, acquires and manages real estate assets related to transportation and energy infrastructure in the United States. In the transportation and energy infrastructure sector, Power REIT focuses on new acquisitions of real estate that has been or will be leased to renewable energy generation projects, such as utility-scale solar farms and wind farms with low or minimal technology risk.
