On June 30, 2017, at a special meeting of shareholders (the "2017 Special Meeting ") in connection with the Company's acquisition of Empresa Minera Alcira S.A., a private mining company incorporated in Bolivia, shareholders adopted a special resolution authorizing and approving an amendment to the Articles of Association to change the company's name back to" New Pacific Metals Corp. ". The Company's precious metals projects include the Flagship Silver Sand Project (the "Silver Sand Project "), the Carangas Project (" Carangas ") and the Silverstrike Project (" Silverstrike "). With experienced management and sufficient technical and financial resources, management believes that the company is capable of creating shareholder value through exploration and resource development.
