Envela Corporation was originally incorporated as a Nevada corporation on September 16, 1965. Envela is a holding company with subsidiaries engaged in the re-commercialization of commodities. Envela's e-commerce business in each subsidiary reprocesses previously owned or used goods for resale, or recovers the value of the product by extracting materials, elements or components available for sale. Envela's e-commerce business is both retail and wholesale, through distributors, resellers, brick-and-mortar stores and online channels. As described herein, Envela's subsidiaries also operate a number of other related businesses and brands, engaging in various activities. Envela is headquartered in Nevada and is headquartered in Irving, Texas. ECHG owns and operates Echo, ITAD USA, CEX, Avail De and Teladvance, mainly through these companies to buy and resell or recycle consumer electronic components and IT equipment. Echo focuses on end-of-life electronics recycling and provides disposal transportation and product tracking; ITAD USA provides IT equipment disposal, including compliance and data purification services; and Teladvance, CEX and Avail DE act as value-added resellers, providing products and services to companies wishing to upgrade capacity or dispose of equipment. Like DGSE, ECHG also maintains relationships with refiners or recyclers to which it sells valuable materials extracted from electronics and IT equipment that are not suitable for resale or reuse.
