Cryo-Cell International, Inc., was incorporated in Delaware on September 11, 1989 and is headquartered in Oldsmar, Florida. The company is divided into three reportable segments, namely cell processing and cryogenic cell storage, and its current focus is on the collection and preservation of cord blood stem cells for home use, the production of preacylated CB units, the processing technology for processing cord blood stem cells, and the cell processing and cryogenic storage of cord blood stem cells for public use. Revenue from cell processing and cryogenic cell storage represents revenue from sales of cord blood stem cell programs to customers and licensees of cord blood stem cell programs to customers outside the United States, revenue from manufacturing of preacylated CB devices represents sales of preacylated CB devices to customers, revenue from cryogenic storage of cord blood stem cells stored at Duke University for public use is derived from the sale of cord blood units to the National Marrow Donor Program (" NMDP "), The program distributes cord blood units to transplant centers located in the United States and around the world. The Company's headquarters facility in Oldsmar, Florida handles all aspects of its U.S. business operations, including the handling and storage of specimens, including specimens obtained from certain licensee customers, which are stored in commercial cryogenic storage facilities.
