Avalon Holdings Corporation was established on April 30, 1998 as an Ohio corporation. Avalon's business units are waste management services and golf and related businesses. The waste management services segment includes waste disposal brokerage and management services, proprietary landfill management business and salt water injection well business. The golf and related operations segment includes the operation and management of four golf courses and related clubhouses, one hotel, fitness center, tennis court, salon and spa services, catering, banquet and conference facilities.
