Lee's presidential term officially began at 6:21 AM local time. The inauguration ceremony for the 21st President of Korea, Lee Jae-myung, is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM local time at the National Assembly. The final tally of votes showed that Lee received 49.42% of the votes, while the candidate from the People Power Party, Yoon Suk-yeol, received 41.15%, and the candidate from the Reform New Party, Sim Sang-jung, received 8.34%.
