Australia’s FleetPartners Group (FPR.AX) has received non-binding takeover proposals from three potential bidders—SG Fleet Topco, Canada’s Element Fleet Management Corp (EFN.TO), and Japan’s Orix Corporation (8591.T)—and has initiated a limited due diligence process for all parties. The board of FleetPartners, a leading vehicle-leasing and fleet management firm, has reviewed the initial offers and is providing access to key information to help bidders assess the potential for revised, more competitive proposals.

The company emphasized that the due diligence process is designed to facilitate informed decision-making by the bidders and is open to extension for any additional suitors who submit formal proposals. FleetPartners is currently engaging with SG Fleet, which is backed by Pacific Equity Partners, as well as Element and Orix, while remaining open to alternative bids that may arise.

This development marks a significant step in what is shaping up to be a competitive takeover battle for FleetPartners, with multiple international players vying for control of the Australian asset. Investors are closely watching how the process unfolds and whether any revised offers will emerge in the coming weeks.
