Watts Water Technologies, Inc., was founded by Joseph E Watts in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1874. Watts Modulation Ltd started as a small machine shop, supplying components to New England textile mills in the 19th century, and developed into a global manufacturer of products and systems for controlling, preserving, ensuring the quality of water used by people, and the comfort and health of water users. Watts Water Technology, LLC was established in Delaware in 1985 as the parent company of Watts Modulation, LLC. The company's strategy is to become a leading provider of water quality, water storage, water safety and water flow control products, providing first-class products and services to the residential and commercial markets in North America and Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and expanding the market in Asia. The company's main objectives are to increase revenue by increasing sales in existing markets, enter new markets, utilize distribution channels and customer base, make sophisticated acquisitions, reduce manufacturing expenses and promote the development and consolidation of industry standards.
