One Gas, Inc., is the largest natural gas utility in the United States. The company's predecessor was ONEOK's Natural Gas Company in Oklahoma, founded in 1906. One Gas, Inc., was established under the laws of Oklahoma on August 30, 2013. It is the largest natural gas distributor in Oklahoma and Kansas and the third largest natural gas distributor in Texas. As a regulated utility company, it provides wholesale and retail services to customers. The Company provides natural gas for residential, commercial, industrial, transportation, wholesale and public facilities to customers in three states. The company's customers are from Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kansas City, Kansas, Wichita, Topeka; and Ting City and El Paso, Texas. The Company has three divisions, Oklahoma Gas Operations, Kansas Gas Operations and Texas Gas Operations. Natural gas users in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas reached about 87%, 69% and 14%, respectively. Founded on August 30, 2013, the company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ONEOK's and holds ONEOK's natural gas distribution business.
