The Lena Company was founded in Miami, Florida in 1954 as a local homebuilder. In the following decades, the company expanded its residential construction business through organic growth and acquisitions, entering key markets such as California, Florida and Texas, and expanded its geographic reach through acquisitions, including Pacific Greystone Corporation in 1997, U.S. Home Corporation in 2000, WCI Community in 2017, And 2018 CalAtlantic Group Group, Inc. In February 2025, Lennar further expanded into new regional markets through the acquisition of Rausch Coleman Homes. Today, Lennar is one of the largest homebuilders in the United States in terms of deliveries, revenue and net profit. Its businesses include home construction, mortgage origination, title insurance and closure services, as well as the development, sponsorship and management of multi-family and single-family rental property funds and businesses.
