The company designs and manufactures a range of products and integrated solutions for municipal, government, industrial and commercial customers. The company's product portfolio includes safety and security systems, vacuum feeder vehicles, road sweepers, automotive aerial work vehicles, water jets, and technology and intelligent transportation system solutions. Federal Signal Corporation and its affiliates operate 11 manufacturing plants in 6 countries around the world, serving customers in approximately 100 countries around the world. Goods are manufactured and services are provided by four main operating divisions: Safety and Security Systems, Fire and Rescue, Environmental Solutions and Federal Signal Technology. The company's long-term strategy includes expanding into adjacent markets, strengthening its position in the global market and expanding its product offerings through selective acquisitions of businesses, ancillary products and services, and organic growth.
