Donaldson Company, Inc. was founded in 1915 and was incorporated in its current form of corporation in 1936 under Delaware law. The company is a global manufacturer of filtration systems and parts. With a diverse and skilled workforce in more than 150 locations on six continents (77 of which are manufacturing and distribution centers), the company works with clients ranging from small business owners to the world's largest original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brands to solve complex filtering challenges. The company's operating divisions are Mobile Solutions, Industrial Solutions and Life Sciences. The Mobile Solutions segment is based on a mix of customers and products and consists of off-road, on-road and aftermarket business units. The Industrial Solutions segment is organized by product type and consists of industrial air filtration, industrial gases, industrial hydraulic, power generation, and aerospace and defense business segments. The Life Sciences segment is divided by end market and consists of the business segments of bioprocessing equipment and consumables, food and beverages, vehicle electrification and medical equipment, microelectronics and disk drives.
