CNX Resources Corporation was founded in Delaware in 1991. The company is a premier independent low-carbon intensity natural gas development, production, midstream and technology company centered in the Appalachian Basin. Most of their operations are concentrated in unconventional shale formations, primarily the Marcellus and Utica shales in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. In addition, the company operates and develops coal-bed methane (CBM) assets in Virginia.
