B & G Foods, Inc., together with its affiliates and their predecessors, has been in business for more than 120 years. It was incorporated in Delaware on November 25, 1996 as B Companies Holdings Corp. The company manufactures, sells and distributes numerous brand-name, high-quality, storage-stable foods, many of which have a high share of the local and international markets. Generally speaking, the company positions famous products as products that can attract consumers through high quality and at reasonable prices. On the basis of branded product retailing, it complements institutional and food service sales and limited private label sales. Through a multi-channel sales, marketing and distribution system, the company sells products to major food delivery channels in the United States, including supermarkets, large merchants, warehouse clubs, wholesalers, food service distributors and direct customers, specialty food distributors, military commissaries and non-food outlets (such as drugstore chains and dollar stores).
