Liberty All-Star Growth Fund, Inc., was incorporated in Maryland on December 16, 1985. This is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The fund's investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, they seek to achieve their investment objectives by investing at least 65% of their net worth in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of any market cap company. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will continue to fully invest in equity securities and may invest up to 35% of their total asset value in U.S. government securities, repurchase agreements related to U.S. government securities, and to a certain extent no more than 10% of the market value of the Fund's total assets, and money market mutual funds that mainly invest in U.S. government securities.
