Lakeland Financial Corporation was incorporated in Indiana on February 8, 1983 as a bank holding company under the Bank Holding Company Act Amendments of 1956. The Company holds all outstanding shares of Lake City Bank, a full-service commercial bank located in Wausau, Indiana. The bank authorized its wholly-owned subsidiary LCB Investments II Co., Ltd. to manage some of the bank's investment products. The company is not involved in other businesses except the holding of shares issued by banks and the management of banking business.
Bank deposits are guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The business offered by the bank covers various fields of commercial banking, including checking accounts, savings deposits, time deposits, repurchase of marketable securities, commercial, real estate and agricultural loans, direct and indirect consumer loans, commercial and residential real estate mortgages, retail and commercial credit card services, corporate financial management services, retirement services management, bonds, safe deposit box services and wealth advisors, trust and brokerage services.
