The First Bancorp, Inc., was incorporated under the laws of Maine on January 15, 1985, with the purpose of becoming the holding parent company of First National Bank of Damaris Gotha, which was licensed as a national bank under the laws of the United States on May 30, 1864. Common stock and preferred stock of banks are the main assets of the company, which has no subsidiaries. The bank emphasizes personalized service, and its customers are mainly small businesses and individuals, for which the bank will provide a variety of services, including deposit accounts, consumer and commercial and mortgage loans. In the past, banks have not made major changes in carrying out their business models. Banking in the bank's market area is seasonal, with lower deposits in winter and spring and higher deposits in summer and autumn. This increase was predictable and did not have a material adverse effect on the bank. In addition to traditional banking services, the company provides investment management and private banking services through First Advisor, which is the business unit of the bank. When large banks have changed their personalized service commitments to customers and are not in line with established standard account opportunities, first advisors focus on taking advantage of opportunities to create. First Advisor is able to provide a comprehensive array of private banking, financial planning, investment management and trust services to individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations and municipalities of different asset sizes, and provide the highest level of personalized services. The staff includes investment and trust professionals with extensive experience.
