Crocs, Inc., is a company that designs, develops, manufactures, globally markets and distributes footwear, apparel and accessories for the casual lifestyle of men, women and children. The company is committed to becoming a global leader in on-the-shelf molded shoes featuring fun, comfort, color and power. The company's products include footwear and can also utilize the company's proprietary closed cell resin accessory, called Croslite. The use of this unique material enables the company to produce innovative, lightweight, non-indentation, odor-free and durable shoes. Currently, the company sells its products directly to end-user consumers through retail stores, wholesale stores, phone booths and online stores operated by the company in more than 65 countries through domestic and international retailers and distributors.
The company was established in 1999 as a limited liability company. In January 2005, the company was converted to Colorado Corporation and subsequently re-incorporated as a Delaware corporation in June 2005.
