America's Car-Mart, Inc., a Texas corporation (the "Company ") established in 1981, is one of the largest publicly traded auto retailers in the United States, focusing on the" Integrated Auto Sales and Finance "segment of the used car market. "Company" includes a consolidated subsidiary of a company. The Company's operations are conducted primarily through its two operating subsidiaries, American Auto Market Corporation, an Arkansas corporation (" Arkansas Auto Market ") and Colonial Auto Finance Corporation, an Arkansas corporation (" Colonial "). The car fairs in Arkansas and the colonies are collectively called "car fairs. ". The company sells mostly vintage used cars and provides financing to the vast majority of its customers. Many of the company's clients have limited financial resources and do not qualify for traditional financing due to limited credit history or past credit problems. As of April 30, 2020, the company operated 148 dealers, mainly located in small cities in the south-central United States.
