The company trades under the commercial name "Telkom". On September 24, 1991, the company was converted from a state agency to a state-owned enterprise, and on November 19, 1991, it was granted legal person status for an indefinite period of time. The company is a state-owned enterprise and is currently the largest communications service and network provider in Indonesia. Serving a wide range of customers throughout Indonesia, the company has a full range of telecommunications services, including fixed-line telephone communication and fixed wireless telephone communication, mobile cellular communication, network and interconnection services, and Internet and data communication services. The company also provides information, media and entertainment services, including cloud computing and server-oriented management services, e-payment and IT enabler services, payment TV, and e-commerce and convenient flight services.
