Radian Group Inc. is a credit enhancement company. The main business strategy of the group company focuses on mortgage insurance based on priority mortgage loans. The company's current operating business is divided into two parts: loan insurance and financial guarantee. The Group's loan insurance business provides credit-related insurance against personal loan collateral and provides risk management services to lending institutions. The Group mainly manages its business through Radian Mortgage Co., Ltd. (" Radian Mortgage "), which is the main loan insurance company under the Group. The Group's financial guarantee business previously provided direct insurance and reinsurance services based on credit risk, while providing credit insurance to various asset classes through financial guarantees and credit default swaps (" CDS "). In 2008, the company stopped issuing financial guarantee certificates, while continuing to provide financial guarantees to its existing securities portfolio on top of public finance and structured financial credit. In addition, the Group's main financial guarantee subsidiary, Radian Asset Guarantee Co., Ltd. (Radian Asset Guarantee) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Radian Loan Mortgage Company, and its financial guarantee business can be used as an important source of capital to support the company's mortgage insurance business. Since 1991, Radian Group has been a business company under the laws of the State of Delaware.
